According to Radio
Disney’s website, “Incubator features the hottest new talent on the
radio today, and gives you access to tomorrow’s hottest stars.”
Shamy’s star power can’t be denied,
with numerous appearances in music videos and on the radio, and a
fervent following on

Shamy’s six song EP is available to
fans now and features “Now That I’ve Found You,” My Note,” U-Turn,”
“Worth It Or Not,” and the two songs to be featured on Radio Disney:
“You” and “Goin’ To L.A.”
At a very young age,
Shamy knew that he passionately
wanted to pursue a career as a performer. Inspired by his father who
is a singer, song writer, and pianist, Tyler started writing music
when he was about twelve years old and now has over twenty five
original tunes. Shamy writes both the
lyrics and melodies to his songs. Though he has no formal training on
either instrument, Shamy often plays
the piano and guitar by ear when writing. Commonly referred to as a
younger version of Justin Timberlake or Jesse McCartney,
Shamy’s music has been featured
internationally on radio stations such as New York’s WOR 710, UK’s
Taff Air Radio, Dixie Radio Indy, Planet Net Tunes, KWAV.biz, Pop
Garden Radio, XF Radio, The Jake Larsen Show, Decades 5, Radio Basile
and more. A roster artist on the School Zone Pop! Tour,
Shamy performs at fund raisers to
support performing arts programs in middle schools and high schools.
He enjoys giving back to the community by performing at charity events
for Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the Gomez Family Food Drive, and
other non-profit organizations. Additionally,
Shamy is donating one of his songs to
the compilation CD Cure Across the World - all proceeds will be given
directly to The American Cancer Society.
Shamy
has worked in theatre since the young age of seven and began film,
commercial, and voiceover work by the time he reached age thirteen. He
can be seen in several independent and short films, an online
educational resilience program called "R4POWER" distributed to schools
and kids worldwide, a commercial for Sony HDTV, Brett Dennen’s music
video "Ain’t No Reason", Monet Monico’s music video "Wait for Me", and
a Public Service Announcement airing on the internet.
Shamy has also been seen in numerous
community, regional, and professional productions of musicals and
plays throughout the years including an Off-Broadway showcase and a
regional tour. He had the honor of receiving a Perry Award nomination
for "Outstanding Young Male Performer in a Musical".
Shamy can be heard on three of the
acclaimed Kids’ Music Round CDs, as well as voiceovers for a video
game and the Educational Testing Service.
Shamy consistently trains with highly respected acting and

There’s No Keeping The Innocent Bystanders
Under Wraps
Buffalo band no longer a secret at satellite
and terrestrial radio
The Innocent
Bystanders’ (Kevin Sampson: lead vocals, piano, guitar; Brandon Adler:
guitar, keyboards, backing vocals; Scott Bernard: drums, percussion,
backing vocals; Chris Nanula: bass, backing vocals) new single “Under
Wraps” on Amherst Records is gaining momentum at radio.
The Buffalo, New
York band was destined to join forces, explains Sampson. “Me and our
guitar player Brandon grew up 3 houses away from each other so we
always listened to the same kind of music.”
“We fell in love
with Weezer, Oasis, Ben Folds Five and other bands and we met Scott
and Chris at St. Joe's, which was our high school. Me and Scott
actually started a ska band sophomore year,” Sampson recalls.
“Eventually after
a couple of band names, a couple different sounds and various members
me, Chris, Brandon and Scott became The Innocent Bystanders when we
were in college.”
“Under Wraps,” the
first single from The Innocent Bystanders’ self-titled CD, was picked
up by Western New York’s Z101.1 and put into regular rotation. The
song, which reviewer DXMontagnes calls “a brisk romp underlying a tale
of a risqué encounter, reminiscent of contemporary songwriters such as
Ben Folds and Barenaked Ladies,” has received over 9,500 plays on
MySpace, nearly 12,000 views on YouTube, spins on Sirius Hits-1,
airplay in Madison, WI (WZEE) and McAllen, TX (KZPL).
“I wrote the line
‘you took the cue that I gave you, we met up in the back room’ in my
car on my way home from work late one night,” recalls Sampson. “We
later changed the last line to ‘bathroom’ and from there it kind of
turned into a story about cheating on your significant other. I
thought it was a situation that a bunch of people had been in so I
thought people could relate, but I spiced it up a little and made it
so the girl was cheating too.”
Amherst Records
will be supporting The Innocent Bystanders with strong consumer
marketing, national radio, print and internet promotion, partnering
with the Jerry Lembo Entertainment Group.
Once music fans
hear them, The Innocent Bystanders won’t be “Under Wraps” for long.

David Fagin's
"Goddess of Nothing" Something Special to the Jerry Lembo
Entertainment Group
The Jerry Lembo Entertainment Group is
proud to announce their association with David Fagin,
singer-songwriter and founding member of New York City indie pop icons
The Rosenbergs. Lembo Entertainment will be spearheading radio
promotion for Fagin’s song “Goddess of Nothing” the first single off
his debut solo album For Promotional Use Only.
As of this writing, “Goddess of Nothing” is at #34 at secondary Hot AC
markets nationwide, receiving over 1000 spins in 3 weeks. “I love
strong titles and this one got my immediate attention,” says music
industry veteran Lembo of the song. “Next the 10 second melodic
keyboard intro into David's adult pop vocal and the intriguing opening
lyric 'I read you in a book, I wanted to turn the page'...bingo, I was
hooked!”
“Goddess of Nothing” isn’t the only track from For Promotional Use
Only to draw attention and airplay. Fagin’s song “I Do” is repeatedly
featured on Out of the Box, Jonathan Clarke’s highly rated specialty
indie music show on New York’s Q104.3, and was played again on the
January 27, 2008 broadcast of the show.
Fagin’s name is quite familiar to many music fans. He has appeared on
The Howard Stern Show (alongside Kiss' Gene Simmons), Dennis Miller,
Air America with Janeane Garofalo, NBC's Celebrity Justice, NPR,
co-hosted XM radio with The Smithereens’ Pat DiNizio, and has done
several performances at the Playboy mansion.
Fagin’s band The Rosenbergs holds the distinction of being the first
band to appear five nights in a row on Last Call with Carson Daly and
the first band to perform live on Sirius satellite radio. As a member
of The Rosenbergs, Fagin has shared the stage with Duran Duran, The
Strokes, and No Doubt, to name a few.
Even for those listeners who may not know him by name yet, Fagin’s
music is bound to be familiar, having being featured everywhere from
Dawson's Creek to Joan of Arcadia to Queer Eye For the Straight Guy to
American Airlines to The Gap.
“I was immediately impressed with David's intellect, range of creative
talents, accomplishments, sense of humor and fearless spirit,” says
Lembo, who looks forward to the many opportunities his partnership
with Fagin is bound to bring. “I ‘m confident music fans will embrace
him and his "Goddess of Nothing.”

BYRON ZANOS STILL IN A FIGHT THIS FALL
Award-winning
singer/songwriter’s sophomore CD to be released November 13, 2007
Award-winning
singer/songwriter Byron Zanos’ sophomore release Still in a Fight will
be released on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 via Awarestore.com and will
be available for purchase at Zanos’ live performances.
Zanos kicks off
the release of Still in a Fight with a November 8th appearance on
Backstage with Barry Nolan,
an entertainment/news program which
airs Monday-Friday from 8:00-9:00pm ET on The Comcast Network, CN8.
The program reaches 10 million homes between Maine and Virginia
including: Philadelphia (4), Boston (7), Washington DC (8), Pittsburgh
(22), Baltimore (24), Hartford (28), Richmond, VA and most of New
Jersey and Delaware.
The festivities
continue with a weekend-long record release party at Barnes and Noble
at the Shops at Riverside in Hackensack, NJ on Saturday and Sunday,
November 10th and 11th; and a highly-anticipated
set at Rockwood Music Hall in New York City on Friday, November 23rd
. These shows will cap off what has been a very successful year of
performances for Zanos, who opened for Aerosmith, Meat Loaf, and more
on the WaMu Live stage at the Jones Beach Theatre in Wantagh, NY this
summer.
The follow up to
Zanos’ debut album Somewhere in the Middle, which featured American
Idol Songwriting Competition Top 20 song finalist “Secrets and Lies,”
Still in a Fight shows the singer/songwriter reaching a new level of
intimacy and artistic achievement. Zanos’ manager, music industry
veteran Jerry Lembo, explains “Still in a Fight takes you on a
voyeuristic journey of Byron's personal relationships with its
visionary lyrics and masterful melodies. It's a Pop-Opera that must be
listened to in its entirety.”
Zanos is aware
that, for music fans in this digital age, listening to a whole CD
straight through is a rarity, but he isn’t concerned.
"'The
Industry' says that 'The Album' is dead. Well, if today's listeners
want just another single on their iPod, I've got a few for them,” he
says. “But maybe… just maybe, 'The Album' isn't dead - it's just that
nobody's making them anymore; at least not good ones. In a world where
everyone's releases are starting to sound exactly the same, it's fun
to bend the rules," he smiles. Lembo is confident that Zanos’ strong
songs and distinctive vocals will make a lasting impression on music
fans. “I believe word of mouth will generate a buzz on this release
and quickly make it a music tastemaker favorite," he says.
Zanos
appreciates Lembo’s confidence in his talent; including his support as
one of the five things he is most thankful for this holiday season.
Zanos’ list also includes his family and close friends, his health,
his ability to write and perform music, and like many males, Jessica
Alba. He is hopeful Still in a Fight will be gobbled up by music
lovers this Thanksgiving.

American Idol Songwriting Competition
Finalist Byron Zanos Returns To Fashion Jam ’07
Singer marks third appearance at Staten
Island Mall event on Saturday, September 15, 2007.
Staten
Island, NY – September 11, 2007 – American Idol Songwriting
Competition Finalist Byron Zanos and The Staten Island Mall are
gearing up for Fashion Jam ’07 at the Staten Island Mall, 2655
Richmond Avenue, Staten Island, NY on Saturday, September 15, 2007.
Zanos
is excited to make his third Fashion Jam appearance. “I have such a
great time playing ‘the Jam,’ I wouldn’t miss it for the world” he
enthuses.
Featuring stars who are staples on New York area Rhythmic and Top 40
radio stations and one of New Jersey’s brightest up and coming
singer-songwriters, Fashion Jam ’07 promises to be the biggest and
best event in the series’ history.
Fashion
Jam is just one of the many things happening for Zanos as his career
takes off. He and co-writer Drew Yowell were among the Top 25
finalists (out of over 25,000 entrees) in the first American Idol
Songwriting Competition for their tune “Secrets and Lies,” which was
featured on Zanos’ debut disc Somewhere in the Middle.
Zanos’
sophomore effort, Still in a Fight, will be released this
fall. He has also been making strides in his live performances. “This
summer I've been playing sidestage at Jones Beach for a number of
great acts
including Steve Miller,
Chicago, and Aerosmith, says Zanos, who remains a devoted music fan as
well as a performer. “I have so much music on my iPod, you wouldn't
believe,” he says. “Yet, somehow, when I have it set on random, it
seems my iPod has a certain affinity to Billy Joel that I can't quite
understand. A thousand songs to choose from but "Uptown Girl" seems
to always make the first 10 songs. Anyway, Billy's cool with me
anytime,” he admits.
Zanos
knows his music is a bit different from his fellow Fashion Jammers.
“I'm not a dance
artist. Nor am I an artist who dances,” he jokes. “I'm here
to disrupt the dancing madness for a few minutes. It gives the
audience a chance to catch their breath.”
Zanos
keeps his fans updated on his appearance at Fashion Jam and other news
via MySpace. “Its
made relationships with fans very personal,” he says. “When you
actually see them at a show or something, it's as if you know them -
pretty cool!”
When asked about his goals for the future are, Zanos admits his are
lofty, but with good reason. “The bigger you dream the farther you'll
get,” he theorizes. “I do have a cut-off though. If this music thing
doesn't pan out in a couple of years I'm gonna throw in the towel and
become a professional figure skater,” he says with a smile.
Staten
Island Mall’s Fashion Jam is a much-anticipated annual event. “We’re
outdoing ourselves from last year’s show with more music, more
fashions, and more giveaways,” reveals David Albertson, Staten Island
Mall Marketing Manager. “Shoppers will be in fashion heaven as they

Lucas Prata Says
Fashion Jam ’07 Is “Always
A Blast”
The Bad Boy of Dance looks forward to
appearing at Staten Island Mall event on Saturday, September 15, 2007
Staten
Island, NY – August 27, 2007 – Lucas Prata and the Staten Island Mall
are gearing up for Fashion Jam ’07 at the Staten Island Mall, 2655
Richmond Avenue, Staten Island, NY on Saturday, September 15, 2007.
When
Prata, a regular at Fashion Jam, was asked why he keeps coming back,
he replied, “That’s easy…the fans in Staten Island are like no other.”
“They
have so much passion for the music it’s unbelievable,” Prata
enthuses. “You can feel the energy from the second you pull up to
the mall. It’s always a blast!”
Featuring stars who are staples on New York area Rhythmic and Top 40
radio stations and one of New Jersey’s brightest up and coming
singer-songwriters, Fashion Jam ’07 promises to be the biggest and
best event in the series’ history. The diverse lineup satisfies fans,
as well as Fashion Jam’s performers, many of whom are fans of one
another’s tunes. Prata admits that he’s especially looking forward to
seeing “amazing” fellow Fashion Jammer Kat DeLuna’s performance.
In
addition to his love for dance music, Prata enjoys other styles as
well. “I have an i-River,” he confides. “I have everything from
Maroon 5 to NSYNC to Lenny Kravitz to John Mayer to 80’s music to
Heavy house music, and of course,” he says with a smile, “some Lucas
Prata!”
Prata
keeps his fans updated on his appearance at Fashion Jam and other
news, like the release of his new single “All The Girls”, via MySpace,
which he says has been “a big blessing”. “I spend hours everyday
posting bulletins and talking to my fans about new music and whatever
it is that I'm working on,” this accessible artist admits. Prata says
his goals for the future “are to continue writing and performing all
around the world and to make people dance and feel good when they hear
my music. Eventually I will have my own artists that I manage and
produce and continue my dreams through them.”
Now
a veteran of the dance music scene, Prata’s own musical dreams came
true when he was asked to open for Salt N Pepa. “It was an 80 city
bus tour across America and Canada,” he recalls. “I learned a lot from
the girls on how to act in all situations. I saw how they were
respected and how they in return were always so respectful to everyone
around them. I was a big sponge on that tour and took it all in from
the original Spice Girls....Salt n Pepa.”
Known
as ‘The Bad Boy of Dance,’ Lucas Prata’s single “And She Said…(Y
Dices)” has been released as a club mix, a pop mix, a Spanish mix, a
Spanglish mix, and even a Reggaeton version to satisfy his rabid and
diverse fan base. His other hits include “And She Said,” “Let’s Get
It On,” “Wanna Get Witcha,” and “I Think I’m Falling In Love.” Prata,
a Queens, New York native, has been featured on the Today Show, CNN

American Idol Songwriting Competition finalist Byron Zanos hails from
Fort Lee, NJ. His song “Secrets and Lies” (co-written with Drew

Another Woman,” “Anything For Love,” “Gotta Love For You,” “No One’s
Gonna Change You” and “If I Close My Eyes,” Reina, which means Queen
in Spanish, is known and loved by music fans everywhere, especially by
those in the tri-state area. Reina’s hits are heard on local radio
stations WKTU, Z100, WDRE, WBLI, WNEW, and satellite stations Sirius

THE "OTHER" LUCINDA SET TO EMBARK ON HER "I AM
NOT LUCINDA WILLIAMS" TOUR
Pop adult singer/songwriter "Lucinda"
(Just "Lucinda;" like "Cher" and "Madonna.") starts her "I Am Not
Lucinda Williams" tour with upcoming appearances this month throughout
Connecticut and at The Cutting Room in New York City on Monday,
August 27th at 9:30PM.
Better known for her performances in delis (and sometimes singing for
her lunch), coffeehouses (singing for tips and a caffeine high), large
venues (opening up for, and often selling more CDs than the
headliner), and shopping malls (where her credit card bills can be
higher than her performance fee), Lucinda’s career so far has been
notable for her national radio single “Gemini Moon,” her volunteer
work with LIFEbeat in their Hearts and Voices Program, and of course,
being mistaken for Lucinda Williams.
"Lucinda" (the other Lucinda...see above) will be performing songs
from her two albums "Bright Light" (2002 - now out of print and sold
out) and "Aquamarine" (2006 – in stock and available for purchase), as
well as songs she has written over the years that have yet to be
recorded.
She will then take the tour to the NAMM show in January '08 where,
once again, she will no doubt be billed as "Lucinda Williams" and will
have to deal with irate Ms. Williams fans calling her an imposter.

“other” Lucinda, please visit

Byron Zanos Not
Remaining ‘Idol’ This Summer
American Idol
Songwriting Competition Top 20 finalist Byron Zanos is making several
New York area appearances this summer in support of his upcoming
release Still in a Fight. Interest in Zanos has been at an
all-time high since he and co-writer Drew Yowell’s song “Secrets and
Lies” was selected as a finalist from over 25,000 entries.
Zanos is no
stranger to accolades. He has received songwriting honors from the
2006 We Are Listening Awards (Berklee College of Music), the 22nd
Annual Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest, and the Billboard World Song
Contest. In demand as a performer, Zanos was selected to showcase at
Deweyfest ‘06 (DE), MeanyFest (NY), 6-Points Music Festival (DC/VA),
the NACA Mid-Atlantic Festival (PA), NJ Songwriters in the Round (NJ),
Williamsburg Live Songwriter Competition (NY), and was a speaker at a
panel workshop "What Makes A Star" at New York University.
Zanos’ new
release Still in a Fight will be released Summer 2007.
“Basically, the record Still in a Fight is a 55 minute pop
opera, meant to be listened to from beginning to end,” says Zanos.
“However, for those of us with time constraints, the disc is broken
down to 10 tracks – each one a story or anecdote in itself – about the
manic highs and depressive lows of a failed love. The end result is a
rollercoaster ride of emotion in sound.”
“’The Industry’
says that ‘The Album’ is dead,” Zanos asserts. “Well, if today’s
listeners want just another single on their iPod, I’ve got a few for
them. But maybe… just maybe, ‘The Album’ isn’t dead – it’s just that
nobody’s making them anymore… at least not good ones.” Look for that
all to change when Still in a Fight is released, and check out
Zanos’ new sounds when he appears on the WaMu live stage at Jones
Beach this summer.

“Secrets and Lies” An
American Idol Finalist
(Ridgefield, NJ)
Byron Zanos
and co-writer
Drew Yowell’s song
“Secrets and
Lies” was selected out of 25,000 entries as a Top 20 finalist in
the first-ever
American Idol Songwriting Competition. Finalists in the contest
were chosen by
American Idol Executive Producer Simon Fuller and
19 Entertainment.
“When the call
came in from Jesse Albert (19
Entertainment), I almost hung up on him thinking it was a phone
scam,” Zanos recalls. “What an honor to have our song selected from
so many entries!”
“I would love for
either of this year’s American Idol finalists, Jordin Sparks or Blake
Lewis, to record ‘Secrets and Lies’,”
says Zanos with a smile, “but it wouldn’t be a secret or a lie that
I’d love for Daughtry to do the tune.”
Zanos is no

Lucinda’s School of
Rock
National recording
artist is guest speaker and performer at SUNY Rockland Performing Arts
Class
National recording
artist Lucinda will be a special guest speaker and performer at SUNY
Rockland Community College’s Introduction to Performing Arts class on
Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 9:00 AM EST.
“Introduction to
Performing Arts is a survey course of theatre, film, dance, and
musical staging,” explains Dr. Nancy Kane, instructor. “Historical
and social perspectives are complemented by insight into the
performers' points of view.” The course is part of SUNY Rockland
Community College's Performing Arts program, which features
instruction in theatre, dance, and music, leading to an A.A. Degree in
Performing Arts.
“I saw Lucinda by
chance at the Woodbury Commons shopping center and was so impressed by
her performance that I bought two CDs on the spot and contacted her
immediately,” recalls Dr. Kane. “I believe she is someone who
understands the difficulties of making a living as a performing
artist, but through talent and a lot of hard work, she is making
herself known and creating excellent art. I hope she will bring a
guitar and sing for the students so that they can hear her live.
Lucinda's appearance will give the students an opportunity to hear and
speak with someone who is actively pursuing a career as a
singer/songwriter.”
“I
am extremely excited and feel honored to have this opportunity to
speak to the students about my career, enthuses Lucinda. “When I was
first starting out in this business, I was so hungry to see, listen to
and meet anyone who had experience as a performing artist. I think it
is wonderful that the college is teaching by allowing me to discuss
my first hand experience as an independent artist with the students
instead of just using an example in a text book.”
Lucinda recently celebrated the release of her new CD Aquamarine.
With a voice as
strong as any female singer of today, Lucinda says she's not trying to
out-diva the likes of Christina Aguilera, Beyonce’, Jessica Simpson,
Paris Hilton, Mariah Carey, or Janet Jackson. Instead, she hopes to
capture the hearts and ears of a sophisticated adult audience that is
into Shawn Colvin, Carly Simon, Bonnie Raitt, and Sheryl Crow.
A portion of the sales of Lucinda's new CD
Aquamarine will go to LIFEbeat, 'The Music Industry Fights AIDS.'
Lucinda is a proud volunteer in LIFEbeat's Hearts and Voices program.
According to the organization's website, 'Lifebeat's Hearts and Voices
program brings the gift of live music to thousands of people living
with AIDS at facilities throughout New York City including hospitals,
hospices, residential facilities, and treatment centers. Every week,
talented musicians from all musical genres volunteer their time to
play shows for the most appreciative of audiences…Celebrity performers
who have participated include Destiny's Child, LL Cool J, Edwin
McCain, Jewel, Ethan Hawke, City High, John Secada, and Floetry, among
others.' On October 3, 2006, Lucinda received an Outstanding Service
Award for her work with the organization.
